Accounting/Payroll Coordinator
Full-Time, Salaried Position – located in Lubbock, TX office
This position includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Accounts payable – entering, processing, and reconciling vendor payments
- Payroll – process payroll, maintain relationship with payroll vendor to ensure compliance on all applicable employment and tax related regulations
- Commissions – order tracking, reconciling, reporting, and processing sales commissions
- Office Support – assist with overflow customer phone calls, route to appropriate department
- Dealer Support – assist Dealer Program manager with commission, leasing, and asset tracking reports
- Reporting – create and distribute ongoing financial reporting for orders and payables
- Accounts Receivable Support – assist Accounts Receivable as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience in Bookkeeping, Payroll, and other core function areas
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office programs – specifically Outlook, Excel and Word. Microsoft Access preferred
- Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills
- Ability to apply knowledge to new software and industry applications
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Strong ability to solve problems and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders
2. Ability to work in a small-team environment and have strong phone skills
3. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and sense of urgency
Physical Requirements: Bending at the waist; sitting for extended periods of time; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and a phone system; hearing and speaking to exchange information; seeing to read reports and data; and lifting objects up to 25 pounds in weight.
