Accounting/Payroll Coordinator

Full-Time, Salaried Position – located in Lubbock, TX office

This position includes, but is not limited to the following:

1. Accounts payable – entering, processing, and reconciling vendor payments
2. Payroll – process payroll, maintain relationship with payroll vendor to ensure compliance on all applicable employment and tax related regulations
3. Commissions – order tracking, reconciling, reporting, and processing sales commissions
4. Office Support – assist with overflow customer phone calls, route to appropriate department
5. Dealer Support – assist Dealer Program manager with commission, leasing, and asset tracking reports
6. Reporting – create and distribute ongoing financial reporting for orders and payables
7. Accounts Receivable Support – assist Accounts Receivable as needed
8. Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience in Bookkeeping, Payroll, and other core function areas
2. Proficient skills in Microsoft Office programs – specifically Outlook, Excel and Word.  Microsoft Access preferred
3. Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills
4. Ability to apply knowledge to new software and industry applications

Preferred Qualifications:

1.             Strong ability to solve problems and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders

2.             Ability to work in a small-team environment and have strong phone skills

3.             Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and sense of urgency

Physical Requirements:  Bending at the waist; sitting for extended periods of time; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and a phone system; hearing and speaking to exchange information; seeing to read reports and data; and lifting objects up to 25 pounds in weight.
